  1. Does anyone else think the increasing wealth of the super rich is obscene ?
Something is wrong with a country when it has billionaires and ordinary people are struggling to buy food and basic necessities.

    • The billionaire have put in blood sweat and tears as well as a little financial knowledge. They have taken the effort to cultivate their interests, unlike ordinary people. So no having billionaires does not make a country in the wrong, it instead says there are people who work hard unlike the idiots coming and ridiculing the country for having billionaires

      • Yeah all those billonaires worked sooo hard for their money! Maybe 1 or 2 of them started from the bottom but most of them have billions at the expense of every day people who actually go to work 40+ hours a week. No one needs that much money its ridiculous when people are homeless and starving.

      • That is not even close to true…
Much of wealth is born in to…
Much of poverty and all its disadvantages are born into…
Whe the world is TRULEY on an equal footing… then you can say that….

    • In a word- No.
It is not obscene at all to be a billionaire. It is in fact a necessity in the world we have created over the last several decades to have these uber rich people as they are the necessary innovators of new technologies and build companies that benefit us all. Look at what Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos etc. have given us? They are all billionaires because they had the brains and determination to build businesses that the global population can’t seem to get enough of. They create tonnes of wealth and employment for thousands of people too. Totally deserve their wealth.

  2. Africa is a source of raw materials with lower value. The refinery is in Europe..

  3. Where is Mr. Zukerberg , Mr. Buffet and Walton family they are also billionaires…but not including in North America …

    • Iman, one person who is the richest in that part of the world, represents the “other Billionaires”. I’m sure that’s not difficult to understand.

  4. There’s nothing wrong with some people working smart and getting rich. Well done on them!

  5. I wish our african billionaires can teach some of our africans on how to start and manage their business as for me who which to be in transportation industry just get the support from them

  6. Why having all the Billions to themselves, and majority humans are still in Poverty, Depression Bcus they lack money to pay Bills. Human injustice

  7. All billionaires can’t be on this list because it indexes richest person per country in a continent. Whoever remains a billionaire in this trying times is gifted and smart

  8. ALL THE RICH PEOPLE OF THE WORLD ARE SUCCESSFULL IN THEIR BUSINESSES BUT ALL THESE WEALTH WILL NEVER BE TAKEN AWAY AFTER LIFE;UNTILL & UNLESS THESE RICH PEOPLE UTILISE PART OF THEIR WEALTH FOR CHARITY OR FOR ANY GOOD CAUSE TO HELP THE NEEDY.

  9. We all know Dangote is the richest man in Africa but we in Nigeria know Dangote isn’t the richest man in Nigeria…

  10. The 8 families that own the Federal Reserve Bank are by far wealthier… Rotschilds,Rockerfellers, Lazards etc.. why do Forbes etc always leave them off?????

  11. Vladimir Putin….
Last year, Hermitage Capital Management CEO Bill Browder told the Senate Judiciary Committee that he believes the Russian president is “the richest man in the world” with a net worth of $200 billion. Browder has some bona fides to back up his Russia

The richest man in the world. Yet nobody seems to mention that???

  14. Being poor is also wanting good things but not willing to work for them.

No matter where you are in your own way according to how much prepared you are for the opportunities you meet; if you are willing to work hard to better your life you can be rich.

    God is merciful.
