Your purpose: As the Customer Services and Logistics Manager, you will ensure the delivery of the company’s customer supply chain & logistics strategy, whilst also managing the daily operations in order to maximise customer service and efficiency.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, the role is crucial in developing and maintaining good relationships with our customers and suppliers.

You will play a pivotal part in seeking continuous improvement opportunities through KPI monitoring and action plan implementation, in order to maximise supply reliability, ensure customer supply chain integration, and to drive joint cost savings initiatives.

Another element of the role is the responsibility of the warehousing and transportation of finished goods across the Australian distribution network.

Being a key member of the Supply Chain leadership team, the role works closely with all functions of the business.

You will develop solid partnerships with our 3PLs to deliver end-to-end efficiencies, savings and growth ambitions.

Being responsible for both the customer supply chain and logistics functions, reducing cost-to-serve is a key focus.

Key Responsibilities: + Ensure compliance with Unilever’s SHEQ policies and all legislative requirements (including Chain of Responsibility). Encourages hazard reporting, risk assessments and safety discussions.

+ Manage a team of people (Logistics Specialists, Vendor Replenishment Planners across the 3x AU major retailers). + Delivery of key service outcomes for our customers (Inbound service levels outbound service levels). Ensures that customer expectations are met and exceeded by managing and improving the process, developing and implementing action plans and strategies to achieve customer KPIs.

+ Delivery of internal Unilever service metrics (Dispatch rate). Drive root cause analysis and action planning.

+ Manage the logistics function to agreed regional and local performance metrics (i.e.

DIFOT, value improvement/cost savings targets, inventory accuracy, load utilisations, cost-to-serve). + Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in cost management.

Qualifications and Experience: + Experienced in Supply Chain operations.

+ Experience in managing 3PLs.

+ Customer facing experience.

+ Planning and budgeting experience.

+ Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team + Exposure to Order to Cash, Procure to Pay cycle.

+ A degree in Engineering, Logistics or similar is highly regarded.

+ Supply chain (APICS etc) qualification an advantage.

+ Note domestic travel is required.

Largely within the Sydney metropolitan region, otherwise Melbourne.
